Joao Bastos has announced the initial release of Xadrez, a 3D chess game for PSP. This game features specular highlights, stencil reflections, and color blending.

Players can pick between the black or white side. Currently, the CPU does not have any memory. It just evaluates the pawn’s current position and reacts accordingly.

As this is its initial release, bugs may be encountered when playing.
