PSP-Maps v0.7 Released

PSP-Maps

The best version yet of Royale’s PSP-Maps is now available! This map reader for PSP allows you to retrieve satellite images directly from Google Maps, Virtual Earth, and Yahoo! Maps. PSP-Maps requires a WiFi connection but also supports offline browsing of maps cached on your memory stick.

And now, the changelog:

  • added Windows version to the release
  • added Google Maps and Yahoo Maps! hybrid views
  • added Virtual Earth hill view
  • added a list of available views in the menu
  • new icon and screenshot
  • joystick should be less sensitive and more precise
  • added optional on-screen informations (lat/lon/zoom/view)
  • geocoding now uses maps.google.com (and not .fr)
  • load balancing between Google Maps servers
  • menu updated (smaller font, nicer coding)
  • readme file was updated

Check out the readme or this tutorial for instructions. A video of an older version in action can be seen here.
