1.50 Kernel Add-on for 4.01 M33
The promised 1.50 kernel add-on for 4.01 M33 is here! This will allow you to run homebrew written for firmware 1.50.
Unfortunately, for PSP Slim users, this will only work with the original Phat PSP. To install, check the readme for instructions. In addition, you will need to download the official 1.50 firmware update, rename it to 150.PBP, and place it in the root of your memory stick. Enjoy!

Thanks for telling me that i had to download 1.50 ofw cause i had trouble and thought it was 4.01 ofw that need to be used for the kernel update….

Typically, any sort of update requires firmware. Archive copies for future use.

Question. Where do i get the official 1.5 update?
and I have the 3.40OE-A. Can I just add the 1.50 update and then execute the new 4.01?
Can i do a restore back to 1.50 then execute the 4.01? or do i have to update to another higher firmware first? I followed psp updates up to 3.40 aoe then stopped for a long while. Whats the easiest way to get up to speed? Thanks !
